BLM Wants Public Comments on Wild Horse Range

CBS Eyewitness News, Affiliate Channel 8 (HD), of Las Vegas, Nevada filed this report on lasvegasnow.com:

The BLM hosted an informational meeting Thursday, Oct. 4 from 6 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. on how it plans to round up more than 800 wild horses from the Nellis Training Range.

The horses are expected to be moved in December 2007 and will reduce the poplulation in that area to between 300 to 500 horses.

If you were unable to attend the public meeting, there is still a way to share your thoughts.

Public comments will be accepted on this topic until Oct 17. Comments should be submitted in writing to:
