Wild Horses and Burros: Rally Your Support
FUND FOR HORSES CHARITIES are putting on attention grabbing spectacles in major cities across the country as only we can to educate the public about the plight of our wild horses and burros.
We are starting in May in Sacramento, California, and working our way across the country, finishing with a major event in New York City. Many other cities are under consideration, but how many we do depends totally on the generosity of people like you.
As excited as we are about putting on these events, the work does not stop there.
These events are the first step in our overall strategy to win freedom for our wild horses and burros from round ups, holding pens and death by slaughter.
The Fund has formed a Wild Horse and Burro Preservation Strategy Committee, and won the involvement of people who are on the cutting edge of resolving this issue. Initial brainstorming instills us with much confidence and excited anticipation because the plans formulated do not involve politicians and has the great potential of being a win-win situation for absolutely everyone, and this is always a top priority to the Fund.
TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO HELP
Do you have a few dollars and a few minutes? Then please visit this link and make a donation in any amount.
It really is up to all of us who truly care to do what we can, and when it comes to giving, every single dollar counts. A grain of sand on its own does not appear to be of much consequence, but amassed with many others builds magnificent dunes.
Corporate sponsors as well as individual donors are invited to get involved. If your business is interested in making a contribution of cash or in kind products or services, please contact us at (202) 536 4462 during regular business hours for details.
Horse Charities is a (501)(c)(3) non profit charitable organization. Donations are 100% tax deductible as provided by law.
DON’T LOOK AWAY
There is so much at stake. If you have forgotten just how much, or are new to this issue, please visit the link below and see.
Thank you.

SPRING WORK PERIOD
Congress is out of session this week for the “Spring District Work Period.”
Many members and their staff are back in their state or district meeting with constituents about the issues that are important to them. One popular method of doing so is the town hall meeting, where constituents can speak to their elected officials (and their staff members), ask questions, and let their voices be heard. Contact the District Offices of your U.S. legislators to find out if a town hall meeting is being held in your area and attend and speak up on behalf of the horses.
Congress reconvenes Monday, March 31st.
