Wild Horses and Burros: Rally Your Support
FUND FOR HORSES CHARITIES are putting on attention grabbing spectacles in major cities across the country as only we can to educate the public about the plight of our wild horses and burros.
We are starting in May in Sacramento, California, and working our way across the country, finishing with a major event in New York City. Many other cities are under consideration, but how many we do depends totally on the generosity of people like you.
As excited as we are about putting on these events, the work does not stop there.
These events are the first step in our overall strategy to win freedom for our wild horses and burros from round ups, holding pens and death by slaughter.
The Fund has formed a Wild Horse and Burro Preservation Strategy Committee, and won the involvement of people who are on the cutting edge of resolving this issue. Initial brainstorming instills us with much confidence and excited anticipation because the plans formulated do not involve politicians and has the great potential of being a win-win situation for absolutely everyone, and this is always a top priority to the Fund.
