Wild horses go to jail, then death row (Colorado)

These pesky wild horses are just so much trouble.

First they eat up everything and destroy our public lands. Then they have too much sex and burden the taxpayer with their unwanted children, even though there is a place for them all to live happily ever after that costs the government nothing if they would just leave them the fudge alone.

Whooping it up in one of the specially organized BLM wild horse prison camps. Oh, look. How unsociable. That little one there is not participating in afternoon fun time. Oh, that's because she's dead.

So what are the mental midgets at the BLM and with their friend Mr. Ranger doing? Going and getting them and sending the wild horses to prison.

In Colorado (that seems to be where most of these troublesome creatures are making headlines these days) there is the unfortunately named WHIP Program.

WHIP stands for “Wild Horse Inmate Program.”

So the wild horses are domesticated at the hands of people who appear to be untrainable to live in our peaceful society, and when it’s all over, the newly rehabilitated horses — by human standards — are either returned to BLM prison camps to mix with horses who have absolutely no manners, or sent to auction.

These auctions are not places of pretty parade rings where horses are lead proudly in front of people breathless at their beauty to bid on. This is a livestock auction where they are rushed through so they can be bought up quickly by killer buyers employed by Mexican and Canadian abbatoirs to be made up into juicy steaks and roasts for the French and their horse blood lusting neighbors.
