Alannah Raven is the new spokesperson for the Int'l Fund for Horses. She was recently interviewed by Kids are Heroes on her new role.
We have not even had a chance to formally introduce Alannah Raven as our new spokesperson she is so fast out the gate in getting the message out about the welfare issues facing today’s horse. Alannah and her dad Eddy are also going to help us raise awareness on how you can protect not just yourself but your horses in the face of an oncoming disaster such as flooding, wildfires, hurricanes and tornados.
15-year old Alannah gave an interview on her new role to an outstanding organization called Kids are Heroes at JustGabe.com.
Here is the introduction with a link to the full story. Remember kids of all ages, you do not have to wait to be an adult to make a difference.
We recently met Alannah Raven through her dad Eddy who tours the country speaking about disaster preparedness. As a matter of fact, Alannah often goes with him and speaks about the same subject. But it was her passion for the protection of horses that sparked this interview. A word of caution here: If you are at all squeamish when it comes to animals being harmed or tortured, you may want to skip this post. We try not to go into too much detail but I feel it is important to raise awareness about what is going on in this country. I personally had no idea. And kudos to Alannah for having the courage at such a young age to confront these horrors. Read interview >>
Alannah will be touring the country with her father Eddy Weiss’s organization Chasing4Life where she will be speaking about disaster preparedness and horse welfare issues. A full schedule is on the way.
