David and Lee Brower not only promoted this scam put adulterated the deal in such a fashion that many Utah millionaires got involved. Among them Terry Dhiel Nu Skin co founder Sandie & Craig Tillotson and several others.
Lee is just as much a scammer as the rest of the bunch and Sandie has since dropped him from payroll as her investment advisor. Lee also threatened Sandie's European ex husband Dietrick Van N. who came to Lee's office to sign over the marital properties, to accommodate a harmonious divorce between him and Sandie. (Very reliable sources).
Now Lee banks on selling little rocks to profit from "gratitude."
Quite a character.

I find it interesting that those so opposed to slaughter never have a viable alternative. Do they expect someone out there to feed and care for these horses? I don't see HSUS or PETA offering to take on any of the horses that for what ever reason are no longer wanted. If anyone that fought so hard to stop slaughter truly had the animals best interest at heart, they would have redirected that energy and funding towards ensuring these animals were put down humanely close to home rather than forcing owners into situations where they had no choice but to abandon the animal or forced animals to travel long distances to countries where we have no say in whether their lives are terminated humanely. I'm sure some of you try and convince yourself that the owners should just pay the vet to have the animal euthanized but if a family can no longer afford a $6 bale of hay to feed the horse, how can you expect them to pay the vet to euthanize and pay either someone to come out with a backhoe and bury the animal (usually at least $150) or pay someone to remove the carcass (usually around $250). Do you expect all the veterinarians to euthanize for free? It seems to me that you expect everyone else to pay for your decision. Fine, you want slaughter stopped - then step up to the plate and start caring for these animals. Maybe you should set up a fund to help these owners with the animals they can no longer afford to keep and/or purchase a large facility and hire numerous people to care for the unusable/dangerous horses. You ask for funds and yet none of those funds are actually making it into the hands of those who for whatever reason can no longer care for the animal.

This is horrifically sick and cruel isn't even the word!
How does any one find this fun to watch!!!???
that poor horse must be traumatised... the look in the horse's face surely would make anyone stop if there were sick enough to even try it!
not to mention how scared the loin of tiger must have been?!
this is not what animals are meant for... i have 2 horses of my own which i compete and seeing this bring tears to my eyes why are ZOO's just not banned full stop! keep them in a safari yes, where they can lead a normal life as if they would in the wild but how is a zoo even remotely kind to an animal?!
