ABC affliate WTVQ Channel 36 Lexington, Kentucky reports:
More Than 60 Horses Found Dead or Dying on Farm
Investigators with the SPCA and the Mason County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a report of horse abuse on a farm.
Investigators tell Action News 36 they found close to 70 horses dead or starving on the farm.
They say at least 30 were dead, with carcasses stacked on one another and others dumped in a creek near the farm.
They also found many horses starving.
No charges have been filed yet in the case and the name of the farm owner hasn’t been released but investigators say he is facing at least 30 counts of animal cruelty and neglect.”
