Horse racing back in China

Tradition, gambling, money, fun, thrills and spills. Everything a punter could possibly want. And no humans get hurt, much. Priceless.

Oh, great. China hates gambling but loves money but then who doesn’t and betting on horses is one surefire way to make lots of it so let’s make it legal.

Tradition.

Of course there is horse fighting in China, and exists not because it is part of the culture except for the gambling part and who knows if it is legal or not because no one is saying and looking the other way and stuff, but that’s okay, because it makes money for some people.

Tradition.

Never mind that it is brutal and deathly for the horses. It is fun, and it makes money.

Tradition.

So, let’s have horse racing back in China, because the English started it anyway and of course they are so gentile and stuff and let’s be just like them, and make lots more money from horses running around as fast as they can.

And China has a great track record on animal welfare so let the fun begin.

Tradition.
