Here are just some of the fantastic lessons on offer:

Holistic Horse Day
Saturday 18th April

The universal communication between horse and human, known as “horse whispering” involves more than just one-way body language communication. It includes the understanding of energy work, intuition, natural equine dynamics and, most importantly, learning how to apply all the tools to create a genuine, gentle trust-based partnership with your horse.

Simple Solutions Clinic
Sunday 19th April

Firm but Fair? Compromise vs. Conflict? Kindness vs. Boundaries?

These are the questions that people often ask, especially when surrounded by “rescued” horses. Knowing what to ask, when to ask it and how to ask, is the key!

So often people believe that their love and kindness can overcome their horse’s past experiences. While their past might explain behavior, this love alone can cause dangerous situations which escalate.

Horses have their own language and their own protocol and by humanizing behavior, we often misunderstand their true communication. Accidents can occur with a blink of an eye. Concern arises for the sanctuaries as to how to maintain proper safety standards and take care of the horse’s needs and desires while ensuring proper handling.

NEW for 2009!!!
Foal Handling
Monday 20th April

Anna has designed a unique program to start foals on the right foot. By introducing them to basic handling at the age of weaning or when first possible we prepare them for a best possible start.

All Clinics are held at Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary in Green Valley, AZ. Cost: $75 early bird special or $100 on the door!
