Freedom Friday, February 19, 2009: Free the Calico Mustangs

The wild horses need your continued phone calls, emails and faxes to carry the great momentum built by the Las Vegas Protest yesterday into tomorrow’s in Carson City. Don’t turn your back on our wild horses and burros now! We are the brink of a breakthrough. Pass this along. Gather up your friends, family and colleagues, and be a part of history.

Carson City Nevada “Truth Rally”

The Alliance of Wild Horse Advocates demand the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about the BLM’s handling of our wild horses and burros.

In honor of Freedom, the Calico Mustang Stallion who broke free, and tore through barbed wire to escape, exercise your Freedom of Speech and attend the Truth Rally tomorrow.

When: Saturday, February 20, 2010
Time: 12:00 to 3:00 pm
Where: State Capitol, in front of the Legislative Building, 202 Carson Street, US Hwy 395, Carson City, Nevada

For more information:

Bonnie Matton, Wild Horse Preservation League – Dayton, NV. 775-220-6806,

Shirley Allen, LRTC Lucky Horse Rescue – Stagecoach, NV. 775-246-7636,

As the Calico tragedy continues in a shroud of secrecy, scoping has begun for the Twin Peaks roundup in California. Additionally, Nevada’s Virginia Range herd is now in grave danger of also being rounded up. Though the Eagle HMA roundup in Ely, Nevada has been delayed, it has NOT been canceled entirely!

Please make that phone call, or send a fax or email right now.

Thank you so much.
