Get Old Friends on film

Film makers Dan Rhema and Dave Henry have launched their new documentary project about Michael Blowen and the Thoroughbreds of Old Friends Equine.

Old Friends the film will tell the story of the farm and its extraordinary athletes through interviews with Hall of Fame jockeys, trainers, owners, celebrity fans, volunteers and visitors. With your help, we will be able to complete production in time to premiere Old Friends during the 2012 Kentucky Derby Festival.

Pre-order your copy of the DVD and make this film a reality.

  1. God Bless the rescuer of horses be they wild or domestic or race horses. They all deserve a peaceful life and not the horror of the slaughterhouse. Hopefully, there will be a solution to save our wild horses from extinction. They have a unique bloodline that needs to be preserved.

  2. I THINK THIS IS WONDERFUL. IT IS ABOUT TIME THE RACING OWNERS, ATTENDES, AND ALL STARTED PAYING BACK TO THE BEAUTIFUL HORSES THEY HAVE ENJOYED SO MUCH AND NOT SENDING THEM TO SLAUGHTER. OWNERS WHEN IT IS TIME TO SELL YOUR HORSE(S) FIND A HOME OF SANCTUARY FOR THEM AND DO NOT SEND THEM TO SLAUGHTER.
