A pint of beer, a giddy-up and slap on the bum before being sent on holiday. It sounds like the perfect way to start a well-earned vacation – and that’s just what this is for shire horses Monty, Max and Prince.
The trio are among the last remaining working shires working in the UK brewing industry and work 50 weeks of the year delivering beer to pubs around the Wadworth Brewery in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Visit this link and scroll down for photo gallery and watch Max, Monty and Prince run for fun in open pasture.
Just being the Beautiful Horses they are , wow a brew too, woooooo hoooo !!!

While I just don’t believe in giving any horse ale, I just don’t know what on earth got into that stallion!

They love it as you can see. And it’s good for them. Besides, they’re on vacation!

I think it’s particularly touching too that a large crowd always turns out to cheer them on when they are released to rest and frolic. I was very happy to post this too. A very welcome change from all the doom and gloom we usually see here.

GOOD FOR THEM, makes my heart sing (for a change). Most of our animal news is not nearly this happy. God bless

They’re a sight for sore eyes (and doesn’t he look a bit like Bullwinkle as he snoggles that beer?)! Thanks for this.

Thank you Cynthia. It is wonderful to see the joy of these big, hard-working horses run free and kick up their heels. And a brew too. How good is that!
