CCABLAC reports:
TUNICA ARENA, TUNICA COUNTY, MS – Shortly before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, an obviously irate driver who was attending the “Big Lick” Tennessee Walking Horse Show appeared to deliberately and maliciously aim a truck CCABLAC animal welfare advocates protesting animal cruelty at the “Big Lick” Tunica Fall Classic Horse Show.
The driver of the truck bearing a Missouri license plate entered the driveway into the Tunica Arena and was travelling in a straight direction until upon seeing the CCABLAC advocates holding the trademark BOYCOTT BIG LICK ANIMAL CRUELTY banner, suddenly swerved his truck and aimed it directly at the peaceful protesters.
He then accelerated while driving directly toward at the animal welfare advocates until swerving back to his left just a few feet from where the protesters stood.
Virtually the entire time, the truck driver was flashing an obscene “middle finger” gesture at the protesters.
Clant M. Seay stated:
“The irresponsible conduct of a person who used a potentially deadly weapon to recklessly endanger the lives of innocent citizens is reprehensible. These fine Americans did nothing other than peacefully assemble in a public place to exercise their First Amendment rights to free speech and protest “Big LIck” Animal Cruelty to defenseless innocent Tennessee Walking Horses. The conduct of the driver of the truck is not going to be tolerated. We will see that this person is prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law to be sure that others, who might be so inclined, will think twice before doing something that endangers the lives of other persons.”
The “Big Lick” Horse Show was brought to Mississippi by the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration located in Shelbyville, TN.
In 2015, USDA Vet Inspectors disqualified 30% of the “Big Lick” Tennessee Walking Horses they inspected for alleged violations of the Horse Protection Act (Animal Cruelty).
The shocking incident was captured on video by a http://www.billygoboy.com reporter.
