Giving Tuesday

Hello everyone.

It’s Giving Tuesday. Our heart went out for the horses mentioned in this tweet by Neigh Savers.

Neigh Savers is a non-profit organization that rehabs, retrains and rehomes off the track thoroughbreds.

The number of starts, even if it is over a period of 10 years. Heartbreaking. Thank God they are in a good place now where they can live out their lives just being horses.

If you are contemplating donating to a horse cause this Giving Tuesday, please consider Neigh Savers. Their mission is:

” . . . to help another worthy candidate who deserves a compassionate retirement. All funds from the 2019 Giving Tuesday fundraising will be dedicated to help get another war horse off the track.”

OTHER NEWS

In other news, we are relocating our website to WordPress, the home of The Horse Fund’s blog, Tuesday’s Horse. WordPress delivers excellence in every area and we are thrilled we are finally tackling such a big move. It is taking a lot of man hours. We should be done by the end of December. Hooray!

If you wish to donate to us this Giving Tuesday, hop over to our new site’s donation page. Take a look around while you are there if you have time to. We are about 3/4’s of the way through. It’s going to be gorgeous!

Why all the changes? You know Mrs. Farrell by now. That woman never stands still. She is always recalibrating everything with a view to doing things bigger, smarter, better and faster for the horses we love and for whom we want to do everything we possibly can. Speaking of which, we are putting some exciting campaigns together for 2020 that we hope you will feel extra motivated to help with.

Thank you for being with us for another year and supporting our work.

Warm regards,
THE HORSE FUND
