Vegan guacomole recipe by I Love Vegan.

Nat’l Guacamole Day

Did you know that it is National Guacamole Day? We didn’t till just now. Do you have a favourite recipe? Most of us do. We support and recommend a vegan diet for numerous reasons. You probably know them by now. If you are newly vegan — welcome to the Club. Here’s a tasty vegan guacamole recipe from ilovevegan.com.

Here are the ingredients:

4 ripe avocados
2 small slightly under ripe tomatoes, seeded, and chopped
1/4 red or white onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeno, very finely chopped
juice of 1/2 lime
1/2 tsp salt

You probably already know how to make it, but if not go here for directions.

Happy National Guacamole Day!

  1. Adding garlic and subtracting cilantro would make it perfect in my books 😉

Cilantro is one of those things that you either like or absolutely hate. A friend of mine from Mexico tells me they call it “stink weed” there. Definitely an acquired taste.

    Love guacamole though.
