Passing the Save America’s Forgotten Equines (SAFE) Act (S. 2732 and H.R. 3355) outlawing the slaughter of our horses is our highest priority in the nation’s capital. We need your help.
1. Make Contact. Contact your federal legislators and ask them to cosponsor these bills. You can find out if they have at S. 2732 and H.R. 3355. If they have already cosponsored, then ask them to take all necessary steps to get the bill out of committee and on to the floor for a vote.

About H. R. 3355 / S. 2732

We do not have a lot of time left to push this bill through, but it is possible if we all get busy. Right now, we have a President who will sign it into law.
Urgent
While support for this legislation is high — both in Congress and among the people — it is not translating into action by our elected officials.
They need to know how important banning horse slaughter is to us, that they cosponsor these bills, demand action before the relevant committees, and move this legislation onto the House and Senate floors for a vote now. We can get this done. Contact them at the links below.
