The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person who is doing it.

— Chinese Proverb

Get out there and do it. Take action for horses. With us. With someone else. They need our voices to give them a voice.

Even if someone says trying to defend horses from abuse and suffering is useless and nothing we do is going to work. Don’t let them interrupt you. Take action for horses uninterrupted!

Happy Independence Day

Fund Horse, US Flag and Capitol Dome. Vivian Grant Farrell.

In the spirit of all the 4th of July holiday represents, let’s keep working together to give our horses all they so richly deserve, to live peacefully, freely, in perfect harmony.

Let our horses know only kindness, consideration and most importantly, gratitude for all the divinely beautiful qualities they express.

Thank you for following our blog here at Tuesday’s Horse, for commenting, sharing, “liking” our posts and when necessary taking action.

Here are some thoughts to inspire.

Look back at our struggle for freedom,
Trace our present day’s strength to it’s source;
And you’ll find that man’s pathway to glory
Is strewn with the bones of the horse.

Veryl Goodnight

Horses are creatures who worship the earth
as they gallop on feet of ivory.
Constrained by the wonder of dying and birth,
the horses still run, they are free.
John Denver and Joe Henry, “Eagles and Horses”

A horse loves freedom, and the weariest old work horse will roll on the ground or break into a lumbering gallop when he is turned loose into the open.
Gerald Raferty

Horses. If God made anything more beautiful, he kept it for himself.
