It is time, he continues, that the Bureau of Land Management is removed from the American West.

as a young cowboy from ft peck montana i knew the b.i.a. was a bad ideal then and now 45 years later you think theres something we can do down in az. some one is shooting the sabat horse so rich ranchers can use more blm i dont have a loot of money but i will call god if that is what it takes as me to do anything help me get there and ill help god bless you all for what the white ranchers call dumb aniamls this sadens me to even have to write this

M*ybe it is not exclusive use but primary use. Would it possible to create WHB trusts who would receive grants for management from BLM which could then lease HMA as formed by 1971 Act for maintenance of WHB together with grazing permits with WHB trust oversight and primary oversight of HMA ecosystem and biological preserve. Horses in holding belonging to those HMAs would be returned to land with consequential re-assessment of WHB use and decisions made how to proceed with real counts and assessment of range capacity. Hmmm – thinking about those leases. Special interests lease thousands of acres for 30 year terms. Why are they given exclusive use? There has got to be contingencies that allow it. This is one thought. How many acres in an HMA?

What would it take to move the WHB out from control of the DOI/BLM? BLM admits WHB is most of its budget – but on what grounds can we provide a better management? Let’s frame some scenarios…

Since the wild horses and burros are on public lands I don’t think you will ever get them away entirely from the BLM. The problem is that there are so many factions who want to use that land.

BLM are CRUEL, CORRUPT, COWARDLY LIARS and all they do is to serve Rolex Welfare Cattle ranchers and to help them stuff MILLIONS & MILLIONS & MILLIONS & MILLIONS of their privately owned Welfare Cattle and Sheep on our public lands. These MILLIONS & MILLIONS of WELFARE CATTLE DESTROY our land, water, wildlife & cost TAXPAYERS BILLION per year. The board members BLM appoints serve Welfare Cattle ranchers interests only & BLM also illegally ignores the massive public opposition to their illegal and cruel wipe out of wild horses and burros.

GO TO IT MICHALE. THE BLM MUST CORRECT IT POOR MANAGEMENT OR IT SHOULD NOT BE IN CONTROL OF THE WILD HORSES. HORSES SHOULD HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF LAND THAT CATTLE/SHEEP DO AND CATTLEMEN SHOULD BE PAYING THE GOING RATE FOR THIS LAND.
